Yay for Yoga

Well - I've finally done it. I've tried yoga. And whaddya know? I like it! I've been trying to do whatever I can to help me snap out of this winter depression, so I've been working out, trying to get the rest I need, and taking little bits of time just for Kathy. I have wanted to try yoga for a couple of years, but I have never known where to start. I do know that I am not the most flexible person on the face of the planet, so I was concerned about making a fool of myself, but I held my own, surprisingly. Mind you, I am in a beginning class, but it's still a step in the right direction. Within a few weeks I should be able to do this:
NOT!!!

For now, I'm afraid I'll stick with not falling over with BOTH feet on the ground.

  1. You should try Pilates next. First time in my Pilates class and they have us balance on one of those medicine balls. It doesn't look too hard. Yep. You guessed it. I lost my balance and knocked over the entire class. I kid you NOT!! Where is my video camera when I need it. The teacher pulled me aside after class and informed me I should take the beginners class. Who knew? Namaste!!
